Londres volvió a vivir momentos de pánico y miedo luego de los ataques del 7 de julio en tres estaciones de tren y un autobus. Ayer cuatro explosivos fueron colocados de la misma manera, copiando la colocación de los explosivos que mataron a más de 50 personas e hirieron a 700 hace dos semanas. La fortuita diferencia es que éstos últimos explosivos no fueron detonados en su totalidad, según reportes de testigos algunos "explotaron parcialmente", sin causar daños mayores ni heridos/víctimas.

Sir Ian Blair, the Metropolitan police commissioner, and other British police officials said it was far too early to draw a direct link between Thursday afternoon's attempted bombings and the July 7 attacks. But investigators said their leading theory was that the latest attempted bombings were a copycat style attack, possibly by a group of people who admired the terror strike two weeks ago by four British bombers from the West Yorkshire area of northern England.

Looking at an Underground map, police officials were struck by the geographical layout of Thursday's attacks, three senior investigators said. Like the July 7 attacks, Thursday's bombs appear to have been situated on the four points of a compass. And the backpacks used on Thursday were of a hiking style that is similar to the ones used on July 7, a British police official said.
